B.Podiatry (UON), Member of APA
Sarah was born in Vancouver, Canada and relocated to New Zealand to spend her schooling years there. She moved to Australia in 2012 to be with her Australian side of the family and to study her University degree where she has been ever since. She regularly goes back to visit family in Canada.
Sarah completed her Bachelor of Podiatry from Newcastle University in 2015 and recently moved back to Newcastle to work at ATUNE.
She spent some time working in Castle Hill in Sydney working in a variety of clinics focusing on sports podiatry, surgery and pediatrics, as well as providing a locum service to podiatrists in the Hunter area.
Sarah has always had a keen interest in sport, competing in hockey and orienteering in high school, which has carried through to her professional life. Sporting activities have a direct impact on the feet, and feet pathologies can make a huge difference in the performance of an athlete.
Sarah strongly believes in the synergy between health professionals to deliver tailored, specific care to each individual through the holistic approach to health care. It has always been a dream of hers to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and achieve better health outcomes.
Sarah’s main hobbies include playing the guitar, interval training, bush walks, swimming in the ocean and spending quality time with friends and family.
