Zinny is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked in General Practice in the local Newcastle area since 1997. Zinny has a special interest in Medical Acupuncture, including the management of chronic pain, and has completed post-graduate studies in the area. She is also interested in dermatology, women's health, care for the elderly and chronic disease.

Zinny is currently working as a Medical Acupuncturist only and not as a General Practitioner.
