Sunny Ruba

B.Physio (Newc), APAM, Dip.R.M (Newc)

Sunny Ruba is a new and welcomed addition to ATUNE in 2017.
Sunny is a qualified Physiotherapist, born and bred in Newcastle.
He graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2010 with a
Bachelor of Physiotherapy and is a member of the Australian
Physiotherapy Association. Sunny holds further qualifications of
an Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage and Certificate IV in
Fitness.

Since graduating, Sunny has worked in a private practice setting
allowing him to increase his knowledge base and hone his skills and techniques in the treatment of the Shoulder,
Lumbar, Thoracic, and Cervical areas, via dry needling. Sunny has
a primary focus to reduce acute pain in patients and has had
overwhelming success in ulitsing his unique dry needling
techniques. Sunny is registered as a Dry Needling Practitioner and
has attained qualifications in Advanced Dry Needling for the Upper
Limbs, TMJ, Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar regions and Lower Limb.

Sunny has always had an interest in health and fitness, having a
background of gym based training, tennis, soccer, cricket and golf.
He applied himself to martial arts for many years and holds a 2nd
degree Black Belt. Outside of work Sunny has a busy life with his
wife and two young children.
Sunny prides himself on getting results for patients and continues
to lecture to peers to advance his scope.
