Rebecca Reinking - ATUNE Health Centres  - Speech Pathologist

B.SpHearSci (MU), MSLP, CPSP, CCC-SLP

Rebecca Reinking is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who is passionate about one particular area: helping children speak clearly and correctly so that others understand them.

Rebecca has a special interest in speech sound disorders, and by only working with children who have difficulties saying their speech sounds, she has been able to deepen her research and clinical skills in this area to best support your child.

TREATING SPEECH ERRORS

She sees children ages 3 years and older who present with:

  • A lisp, or difficulties saying sounds like ‘s’ and ‘r’.
  • Speech patterns where the child leaves off sounds or substitutes one sound for another.
  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)
  • Articulation, phonological, and inconsistent speech delays
  • Children who are very hard to understand in conversation by other people
  • Older children, teenagers, and adults who want to correct their speech errors
