M. Phty. St (Physiotherapy), B Sc. (Kinesiology)

Erin Gander is a qualified physiotherapist and member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) who happily joined the ATUNE Health Centres team in July of 2013. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004 with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies degree and also holds a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology/Exercise Science) degree obtained in 2001 from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.

Erin initially began her physiotherapy career in Brisbane, but was soon drawn to the Newcastle area and has practised locally throughout the last 10 years. Whilst Erin enjoys treating all areas, she has a keen interest in Women's Health, particularly with antenatal and post-natal care. She is a member of the Continence and Women's Health group of the APA. Erin also enjoys treating lower limb and spinal injuries with a strong focus on exercise rehabilitation.
Erin’s passion for health, fitness and well-being, stemmed from her own participation in a variety of sporting pursuits. Whilst she currently enjoys long-distance running, she also has played soccer from a young age and was selected as a representative at a national level competition in Canada. In addition to work, Erin enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband and two young sons.
Erin believes strongly in the importance of providing a highly personalised physiotherapy treatment plan, tailored to the individual’s needs as well as offering them the benefits that can be gained from accessing a holistic form of health care provided by the diverse group of practitioners at ATUNE Health Centres.
