Dr. Libby Sutton  - ATUNE Health Centres  - General Practitioner

Libby Sutton completed her MBBS through the University of Sydney, after previously completing a Bachelor of Science (Hons) at the University of Newcastle. She returned to Newcastle to complete her early hospital years and start a family. Libby progressed slowly through her GP training while she raised her 3 children and worked part-time through their early years.

Over her 20+ years as a Doctor Libby has learned that care, acceptance, and respect are the foundational elements needed for a successful and long-term therapeutic relationship with patients.

Libby also works part-time assisting in surgical operations, which helps aid her general practice knowledge in surgical diagnoses.

"As a doctor, it is an enormous privilege to be invited into people's lives and help support them to take further steps into better health and freedom to live well - whether it is their physical, mental, or spiritual well-being. I enjoy all aspects of medicine, but particularly women’s health, mental health, and complex chronic general medicine.

I am very excited to be at ATUNE; to continue to serve my patients; and also to work as part of an integrated team.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my beloved husband and children, my wider family and good friends. I enjoy gardening, reading, walks, swims, and dabbling in art".
