Meg Taubman - ATUNE Health Centres - Massage Therapist
Dip. BT, Dip. Aroma, Dip. R. M.
Meg's past history includes Teaching Beauty Therapy/Body Therapy at T.A.F.E. (16 years) and at private beauty colleges.
She has been in business since graduating. Her business in remedial massage began with her zeal for knowledge and as a TAFE tutor. She had no intentions of creating a remedial massage business, however, one of the requirements of the course was that students had to do clinic hours involving a minimum of 100 clients treatments over the year - having satisfied that requirement, Meg's clientele was born!
Meg is a sought after massage therapist who is renowned for remedial therapy and skills in relaxation therapy. Joining the ATUNE team in 2009, she has become a very integral part of the healthcare service provided by ATUNE.
Meg's passion is helping people to improve their life - feeling good about oneself after a massage encourages people to do more activities that they normally would not contemplate - a life without or reduced pain, or reduced stress on one's body is a blessing.
Meg is also a part-time volunteer worker for Westlakes Palliative Care Group - a very caring and wonderful group of people who lend a hand to those in need of care, love and attention. To assist the seriously ill through another phase of life as well as giving loving care to the carers has been one of the most fulfilling times in Meg's life. She also does more volunteer work under the band of her business to treat the elderly who are housebound. A good treatment, a good cuppa and a good chat more than often, is just what the doctor ordered!
Meg is always keen to learn more. She attends annual massage conferences held interstate, local day workshops and often weekend workshops - all designed to keep the massage therapist well informed and up-to-date on all aspects of remedial massage and other related modalities.
