Dr Lynn McAtamney - ATUNE Health Centres - Physiotherapist

Dr Lynn McAtamney is a Physiotherapist and Certified Professional Ergonomist who has over 30 years’ occupational health experience in the office, manufacturing, retail and health industries both in the UK and Australia. She completed her doctorate at the University of Nottingham (UK) researching the interactions of mental and physical risk factors associated with work-related upper-limb disorders.
Lynn’s has extensive project management experience and her passion is in improving the health and wellbeing of people in the workplace, whilst at the same time building the success of the organisation. She constructs strategies and delivers interventions using a ‘whole of person’ approach that promote early recognition and positive behaviours to enhance mental and physical ability, reduce risks such as stress and improve resilience, physical health and wellbeing.
Lynn is an invited member of the Beyondblue Workplace and Workforce Expert Advisory Board for mentally healthy workplaces. She has designed a number of highly successful musculo-skeletal (physical) risk measurement tools including RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) in addition to resilience, mental health, ergonomics and musculoskeletal risk reduction programs and a book titled ‘Resilience – Energising Life’.In 2015 she completed 10 years working with Telstra as the Health and Wellbeing specialist and Ergonomist, having worked previously in the Disability sector, Worksafe Australia, and in delivering resilience and mental health risk awareness and education programs in the workplace.
