Psychology

What does a Psychologist do?

A Psychologist has been uniquely trained to excel in problem-solving. This expertise can be attributed to many things, but notably in their skill to assess issues from many perspectives. Some of these perspectives include medical, cognitive, biological, social, developmental, philosophical and relational. When a problem is examined from many perspectives, it allows the Psychologist to offer help that is thorough and applicable to the whole of the life.

Psychologists often work with normal everyday people to assist them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. The Psychologist provides support and assistance by devising strategies that help people to deal with many life and health issues. These strategies are "evidence-based" which means that they have been scientifically tested and shown to be effective.
